Walk in Paris

The best walk in Paris and see the most famous places. Free walk tour, don't need to take the metro. A classic walking tour in Paris: the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysees, Montmartre.

Walk from the Eiffel tower to the Arc de Triomphe 

Total distance about 5.5 kilometers in 1 hour 10 minutes.

Start at the Metro Ecole Militaire and walk to the Trocadero. The distance ia about 2km and takes an half an hour.

When you go out of the Metro first thing you see is the Military school (Ecole Militaire). Go directly to the Park Champs-de-Mars near the Eiffel Tower. Enjoy the great view of The Eiffel Tower.

Walk across the Bridge Pont d'Iena. Look at the House Boats below. Continue and arrive at the Trocadero. The Trocadero is the square with beautiful fountains and gold statues overlooking the Eiffel Tower.

The main monument here is the Palais de Chaillot, a cultural center containing three museums, the Naval Museum (Musee national de la Marine), the anthropology museum (Musee de l'Homme), Museum displaying casts of French monuments (Musee national des Monuments Francais).

Too tired! Take here at the Metro Trocadero to Iena to Alma-Marceau

From the Palais Chaillot, walk down President-Wilson Ave, look at the street lamps . Walk across the Iena square (place Iena). There is here the Museum Guimet, the Tokyo Palace on the right, and on the left the Museum Modern Art of Paris. Continue until the bridge Pont Alma. Here are the Bateaux-Mouches (Boat tours). For a visit to the Sewers of Paris, they are just located across the bridge.

Too tired now! Take the Metro Alma-Marceau to George V or Franklin D. Roosevelt metro station.

From the Bridge Pont Alma head up to the Montaigne Avenue. It takes approximately 11 minutes. The Montaigne street in Paris is vey famous for the luxurious and haute couture boutiques, Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, etc...

You arrive at the Rond-Point des Champs-Elysees 1.3 km 16 minutes. Walk down on the most famous avenue des Champs-Elysees

Moulin Rouge to Montmartre

Distance 1.6 km. Time: 25 minutes

Walk from the Moulin Rouge to the Place des abbesses for approximately 650 meters in 9 minutes. First start at the Metro Blanche where to see the Moulin Rouge. Take the Lepic Street where Vincent Van Gogh has lived with his brother Theo (54 rue Lepic) in 1880. Stop at the Cafe des deux Moulins a popular place. The movie Amelie was made in this cafe. Turn right on the Abbesses street until Abbesses Square.

This square is a must-see in Paris and made Montmartre famous, surrended by cafes, shops and restaurants. Come back on Abbesses Street and turn right on Durantin street to the Bateau-Lavoir where the painter Picasso had his studio.Turn right to Trois freres street. Left at Ravignan street. Left and right at square Jean-Baptiste clement. Turn right at Norvins Street.

This is a beautiful area in paris! A a part of the cite Internationale des Arts. Artists from all around the world has studios. Left on Mont Cervis street. Go right rue du Chevalier de la Barre to the Sacre-Coeur.
