Museum & Exhibitions. It takes at least two hours to visit. Created in the 1970s the President Georges Pompidou initialized the project of this populate place. The Pompidou Center was designed by Richard Rogers, a British architect and Renzo Piano, an Italian architect. Now it's one of the best Paris tourist attractions.
The architecture is extremely modern with colorful tubes very surprising view from outside. On the front there is a square where you can enjoy a very good entertainment with musicians, fire-eaters.
You find inside the Museum of modern art (Musee National d'Art Modern), Brancusi Workshop, one of the public librairies and a cafe where there is an amazing view of Paris.

Very good French specialities like Oeufs en meurette (eggs poached in red wine sauce), cepes mushrooms velote, the traditional boeuf bourguignon (beef cooked in red wine). Ten minutes walk from the Pompidou Centre. Walk south on Rue Beaubourg toward Rue Rambuteau, continue onto Rue du Renard, turn left at Rue de la Verrerie, turn right at Rue du Bourg Tibourg, turn left at Rue de Rivoli, turn right at Rue Tiron, continue onto Rue de Jouy.

You can see the Arche de la Defense from the Arch de Triomphe, in the same axis of the obelisk of the Concorde square. Its architecture is colossal looking like a big cube, 110m high. The Danish architect Johan Otto von Spreckelsen died two years before it was completely built.
