Sardegna a Tavola: 1 rue de Cotte. It' s only 10 minutes walk from the Opera. Direction: turn right at Rue de Charenton, turn left at Rue de Cotte. A very good Italian restaurant. Clams in a spicy broth, orange-scented prawns with tagliatelle.
Bofinger: 5-7 rue de la Bastille. This well-known brasserie is located only 5 minutes away from the opera. Direction: exit the roundabout onto Boulevard Beaumarchais, turn left at Rue de la Bastille. With its amazing decor, this oldest brasserie is one of the most popular place in Paris. Excellent choucroute de la mer sauerkraut with fish on top and the bouillabaisse a fish soup containing seafood.
