Le Square Trousseau: 1 Rue Antoine Vollon. Walk 10 minutes frome the Opera Bastille, a beautiful bistro with an excellent food, slow cooked lamb, Have a lunch menu around 20 Euros. Turn right at Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, turn right at Rue Antoine Vollon. Open every day 8am to 2am.
Sardegna a Tavola: 1 rue de Cotte. Just ten minutes walking from the Opera. Turn right at Rue de Charenton, turn left at Rue de Cotte. Very good Italian restaurant. Clams in a spicy broth, orange-scented prawns with tagliatelle.
Bofinger: 5-7 rue de la Bastille. A brasserie located only 5 minutes away from the opera. Exit the roundabout onto Boulevard Beaumarchais, turn left at Rue de la Bastille. Amazing decor, this oldest brasserie is one of the most popular place in Paris. Had joined the Flo Group. Excellent choucroute de la mer sauerkraut with fish on top and the bouillabaisse a fish soup containing seafood.
Hippopotamus: 1 db Beaumarchais. Less 5 minutes from the Paris Opera Bastille. Specialty meat Exit the roundabout onto Boulevard Beaumarchais. Serves very good grilled beef like steaks, entrecotes...
