The Invalides Paris is one of the most interesting attractions where you see the Napoleon Tomb. The Hotel des Invalides was built in 17th century. Visit the Army Museum.
There are two churches at the Invalides. The St Louis, also called the Soldiers Church and the Dome Church, the Eglise du Dome. The Napoleon's Tomb is in the Dome Church surrounded by sepultures of Napoleon's brothers and Napoleon's son.
Napoleon Bonaparte died on May 5, 1821 on Island of St Helena. He was exiled after his defeat at Waterloo in 1815. His body was transferred in Paris on December 15, 1840.
Visit the Musee de l'Armee. A magnificent display of 100 000 army uniforms, weapons and paintings. Allow at least 2 hours for a visit to Army Museum.
