Le Marche aux Puces de Montreuil is one of the famous flea markets in Paris. In 1991 somebody was very lucky he bought for 10 000 francs a painting attributed to Van Gogh. Today price is estimated at 2 million euros. It is a paradise of clothes, small furniture, spices, books, sporting goods, tools ... Many choice everything at all price, all brand new or old. Marche aux Puces de Vanves is the best market for old toys and books. Metro: Porte de Vanves. Every Saturday and Sunday of the year, open 8 am to 5 pm.It is a smaller market with 380 dealers specialized in small objects, antique jewelry, cameras, phonographs, radios, books, old papers, coins, medals.
Le Marche aux puces d'Aligre is on Place d'Aligre in the 12th arrondissement. Metro Ledru-Rollin. Open from Tuesday to Sunday 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. It is the only flea market located central of Paris. Brocanteurs offer books, phone cards, kitchenware.
