The Bois de Vincennes is the largest park in Paris. It is located on the east part of the city. You can come to the park with the metro. There are two stations: the Porte Doree and the Chateau de Vincennes.
What to do in the Bois de Vincennes? The Hipodrome de Vincennes is the Vincennes Racecourse, one of the places in Paris where you can watch horse races and horse shows. Sometimes the Hipodrome held also music concerts. You can come by metro (station Chateau de Vincennes) and take the bus.
The Parc Floral is one of the best Paris parks. Bike or walk through colorful groves of flowers and trees. Don't miss the greenhouses and the huge playground for the kids. The Parc Floral is the place of the Jazz Festival in Paris.

The Lac Inferieur is the largest lake. TheLac Superieur is ideal for fishing. You can come to the Bois de Boulogne by metro (Station Porte Maillot).
The Parc de Bagatelle is central of the Bois de Boulogne. Visitors around the world come here to admire one of the oldest rose gardens. Every year in June, there is an International competition of new roses. The festival Chopin is an annual event in the summer in the Orangerie of the Park Bagatelle.

The Jardin d'acclimatation is the ideal place for the kids with a small train, a zoo, puppet shows (the well-known Guignol), ponies rides...also excellent attractions for grown-ups and workshops. There are few restaurants and coffee shops. one of my favorite is the Salon de The Angelina.
The Longchamps Racecourse is located on the Route des Tribunes in the Bois de Boulogne. You can come by metro until the Porte d'Auteuil and take the shuttle to the hippodrome de Longchamp. One of the famous race is the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in October.
The Stade Roland Garros is just on the border, south of the Bois de Boulogne. The French Open Tournament will be playing here during two weeks in May June.
Another best Paris park, the Luxembourg Gardens is located in the Latin Quarter of Paris not far from the Sorbonne. The Luxembourg Palace stands in the Luxembourg Gardens. It is the home of the French Senat. You can come by the metro (station Odeon).
This park is unique with its over hundred sculptures. They are animals’ sculptures, famous people like Beethoven, Chopin and Flaubert sculptures. Don't miss the magnificent Medici Fountain built in 1630 and the huge Fountain of the Observatory stands in the south part of the park.
