Paris in 3 days Eiffel Tower


Start your visit by visiting the Eiffel Tower, 18 Avenue de Suffren. Metro La Motte-Picquet Grenelle. The Tour Eiffel is open every day from 9:30 am to 11:45 pm except during the summer between June 15 to September 1, it's open from 9 am to 12:45 am. Plan at least 2 hours for a visit of the Eiffel Tower. You can choose between the stairs to the second floor or the lifts. During the tourist season come early or late in the afternoon.

You can take the Batobus (river boat shuttle service) across the street and walk down the stairs, right hand corner of Pont de Iena. It's a cheap cruise on the Seine. Next stop is going to be the Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris located in the 4th arrondissement. 

Take the Boulevard du Palais, go across the bridge Pont au change, right on Quai de Gesvres and arrive at the Hotel de ville de Paris. Walk to rue du Temple and rue des Rosiers. This area is called the Marais. Find very good restaurants in this area.

Restaurants near Notre Dame Cathedral

Before visiting the Cathedral, go for lunch. La Fourmi ailée (The Flying Ant) was an old library. This place has plenty of charm. Address: 8 rue de Fouarre 5th arrondissement. Open Monday to Sunday noon-midnight. Price varies between 20 - 25 € for a menu, salads.

Creperie Gourmandises Bretonnes 57, rue Galande. The place is very warm Specialties from Brittany. Meals are served with cider.

Le Navigator 63 Rue Galande is open Monday to Sunday noon-2pm and 7pm-10pm has a bourgeois atmosphere. The restaurant serves traditional dishes, fresh salmon, duck confit. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral, beautiful architecture. Dis you know that the construction has lasted 200 years. Napoleon crowned himself here.

Go to Quai du Marché Neuf and right on Boulevard du Palais (450 m) 5 minutes walk to the Sainte Chapelle.

3 days in Paris, day 2. Wake up early and come before the opening of the Louvre Museum. Not Tuesday, the museum is closed. Spend few hours at least in the museum.

Restaurants near the Louvre Museum

Go for lunch at the cheese restaurant "Les Montagnards" 58 Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Specialties from Savoy and local products.

La Taverne de Maître Kanter 16, Rue Coquillière Open Monday to Sunday specializing in authentic sauerkraut and seafood. And open 24 hours. And morning is good too.

Visit La Maison du chocolat for lunch. Or choose between many good cafes and restaurants in the area.

Sacre Coeur basilica in Paris

Afternoon you can go to the Basilica Sacre Coeur.

Metro: Abbesses. At the top, admire the view of Paris, walk to the place du Tertre. Ask for a portrait! Good restaurants and a bakery on the corner of Place du Tertre.

Walk down the streets, arrive to Place des Abbesses, on your way see the beautiful windmills. Maybe you can finish your day by a show at the Moulin Rouge. Most famous cabaret in Paris in Montmartre.


Musee d'Orsay in Paris

3 days in Paris, day 3. Wake up early and go to visit the Orsay Museum 5 Quai Anatole France. See the most beloved impressionist paintings inside an old train station.

Restaurants near the Museum

French restaurant Le Quai open Monday to Sunday : noon to 3pm. If you have enough of museum and park, you can go to the most famous street, the Champs-Elysees and visit the Arc de Triomphe. Walk to the the Avenue Montaigne and go window-shopping, well-known street for high fashion boutiques like Chanel, Dior, Vuitton...

You can always go for a full day to Versailles. Visit the magnificent palace and gardens. If it is summer time, you can stay longer and enjoy the Musical Fountains Show on the evening.
