My favorite classic walks in Paris
1) From the Tour Eiffel to the Arc de Triomphe 5.5km -1h10 Begin at the Metro Ecole Militaire to the Trocadero. Distance of 2km. It will take you half an hour. When you go out of the Metro first thing you see is the Military school (Ecole Militaire). Go directly to the Park Champs-de-Mars. You'll see, the amazing view of The Eiffel Tower. Walk across the Bridge Pont d'Iena and look at the House Boats below. You'll arrive at the Trocadero beautiful fountains and gold statues overlook the Eiffel Tower. One of the main monuments is the Palais de Chaillot, a cultural center containing three museums.

Too tired! Take the Metro Trocadero to Iena to Alma-Marceau From the Palais Chaillot to the bridge Alma 1.3km 16 minutes. Walk down President-Wilson Ave and look at the street lamps. Across the Iena square (place Iena) the Museum Guimet, Tokyo Palace on the right, and left the Museum Modern Art of Paris. Continue until the bridge Pont Alma. Here are the Bateaux-Mouches (Boat tours). Across the bridge to the left the entry to the Egouts Paris'sewers. Too tired! Take the Metro Alma-Marceau to Franklin D. Roosevelt From the Bridge Pont Alma head up to the Montaigne Avenue 900m 11 minutes for the Great Haute-Couture shops Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton. Too tired! Take the Metro Franklin D. Roosevelt to Charles-de-Gaulle Etoile From the Rond-Point Champs-Elysees to the Arc-de-Triomphe 1.3km 16 minutes. After some chic shopping continue on the most famous avenue Champs-Elysees, pass the Lido and end to the Arc-de-Triomphe.

2) From the Moulin Rouge to
Montmartre
1.6km 25 minutes From Moulin Rouge to Place des abbesses 650m 9 minutes Everything will start at the Metro Blanche where you see at first the Moulin Rouge. Take Lepic Street where Vincent Van Gogh has lived with his brother Theo at 54 rue Lepic in 1880. Stop at the Cafe des deux Moulins is a popular place. The movie Amelie was made in this cafe. Turn right on the Abbesses street until Abbesses Square.

This square is typical and made Montmartre famous, surrended by cafes, shops,restaurants.Come back on Abbesses St and turn right on Durantin street to the Bateau-Lavoir where the painter Picasso had a studio.Turn right to Trois freres street. Left at Ravignan st. Left and right at square Jean-Baptiste clement. Turn right at norvins Street. THIS IS AN AMAZING AREA! This is a part of the cite Internationale des Arts. Artists all around the world has studios. Left on Mont Cervis street. Go right rue du Chevalier de la Barre to the Sacre-Coeur. Walk Paris is the best city!
