There are two classes of train the first class la premiere classe more expensive and more comfortable. The second class la deuxieme classe much cheaper. On the TGV (High Speed Trains) first class seats have internet connections. Fares could be more expensive when you travel during high seasons like Christmas holidays. Tips
Before going inside the train you have too stamp your ticket composter. There is a machine at the beginning of the platform. If you forget just go directly to the controller inside the train. Almost all the stations have a room or lockers (consignes) where you can leave your luggage. It costs 4 to 9,5euros depending of the size. Bring some coins with you. Also you can bring your bike with you, contact the SNCF.
