The Paris Visite travel card is very useful to combine trips in zone 1, 2 plus 1,5. It allows you to travel between the Paris airports, Roissy, Orly to downtown Paris, the suburbs of Paris. Metro stations and RER stations, take the funicular to Montmartre the Sacre Coeur.

Main metro stations in Paris

What are the metro stations near the Eiffel Tower? Bir-Hakeim is the closest to the Tour Eiffel. You have also the RER station Champs de Mars Tour Eiffel. The Ecole Militaire station is near the Champs de Mars where you can enjoy a really good view of the Eiffel Tower. The Trocadero station is located on the other side of the Seine River, near to the Palais de Chaillot and the Aquarium de Paris.

Want to go to the Louvre Museum? The Louvre Rivoli is the nearest station. Also there is the Palais Royal Musee du Louvre, Rue de Rivoli closer to the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. A better entrance to go inside the Louvre. The waiting line is much shorter.

Metro station to go to Notre Dame Cathedral and the Sainte Chapelle? The Cite. Or Saint-Michel is a the metro station in the Latin Quarter, Saint-germain des Pres area full of restaurants, cafes.

If you plan a visit to the Sacre-Coeur in Montmartre. Take the metro to Abbesses station and take the funicular is you don't want to climb the stairs.
