La Sainte-Chapelle Church

La Sainte-Chapelle is a famous Paris Church. Walking distance to Notre-Dame Cathedral. It is one of the nicest churches in Paris. Nobody knows exactly when this small Paris church was build, between 1239 and 1243, the time of the King Louis IX of France. Its architecture is Gothic. You will be amazed by the magnificent stained glasses, the rose window, the blue upper chapel. It is classified as a national historic monument.

Interior Sainte-Chapelle

The Holy Chapel is the best venue for concerts. Over 100 concerts are hosted every year. You cannot find anywhere, the remarkable ambience at the Ste Chapelle Paris church. The best performance seems to be Vivaldi's The Four Seasons of all Sainte Chapelle concerts. Also beautiful  music program Schubert, Vivaldi, Mozart, Vitali, Albinoni.

Saint-Sulpice Church

The St-Sulpice Church is a roman catholic church. Second largest church in Paris. It is a must visit building in Paris! There is inside, the Lady Chapel with a magnificent blue dom. Don't miss the gnomon and the brass line on the floor. The great organ was built by Francois-Henri Clicquot, classified as object of National Heritage Site of France. Sainte Marie Madeleine Church

You cannot miss the roman Paris church with its architecture like a temple, in a neo classical style. Inspired by the Maison Carree at Nimes, it's one of the best-preserved Roman temple. The building has been constructed for the glory of Napoleon's Army. It's a must see in Paris with its Corinthian columns. The bronze door represents the ten commandments. Location: 14 Rue Surene, Paris. Metro Madeleine.

St-Julien Le Pauvre church is near Notre-Dame Cathedral, across the Seine river. It's a very old church in Paris and was built in the 13th Century.

Saint Germain des Pres Church

The Abbey is located on the left bank in Saint-Germain des Pres quarter near the Latin quarter. Restaurants, Brasserie Lipp, Cafe de Flore, Les Deux Magots are famous places in Paris and at a walking distance from the Paris church.  The building was built during the 6th century in Childebert's time (son of Clovis). Concerts in Saint-Germain des Pres church include most well-known compositions by Vivaldi, Mozart, Albinoni, Pachelbel. Address 147, Boulevard Saint-Germain, Paris.

Eglise des Billettes Church

Paris church Eglise des Billettes is a Lutheran Church, located in the nice quarter of the Marais (4th arrondissement of Paris) on the Rue des Archives near rue de Rivoli. Address: 24 rue des Archives Paris 

It's the last cloister in Paris and was originally a place of miracle. An host started to bleed when Jonathan Jew has cut it with a knife. You find at the church concert series and traditional gospel music.

 L'Oratoire du Louvre

The Reformed Church of France, L'Oratoire du Louvre is located at 145 rue St-Honore near Rue de Rivoli and Le Petit Machon restaurant. Metro: Louvre Rivoli. Find the statue of Gaspard de Coligny, a Huguenot leader during the French wars between Catholics and Protestants. The Protestant Paris Temple is classified as a national heritage site of France.

Eglise Saint-Roch

Paris church Saint-Roch is in the 1st quarter of Paris. Address: 284 rue Saint-Honore. Metro: Pyramides. From the Louvre Museum you can walk to the church. The Marquis de Sade got married with Renee-Pelagie de Montreuil at the church.

Eglise Saint-Louis en l'Ile

L'Eglise Saint-Louis en L'Ile is a Catholic church. French Baroque architecture. Located in the Marais quarter, 4th arrondissement in Paris. Address: 19 rue Saint-Louis en l'Ile.

Eglise Saint-Eustache

The Paris Church of St Eustache is located close to the Halles. Address: 2, rue du Jour 75001 Paris. The church is splendid inside. Mozart has chosen this church for his mother's funeral.

Sacre Coeur Basilica

La Basilique du Sacre Coeur or the Basilica of Sacred Heart of Paris is probably the most famous Paris church with Notre-Dame Cathedral. The Roman Catholic church is located on Montmartre hill. A most interesting area in Paris. Famous painters, artists have lived in Montmartre.
