Paris Breaks Full 5 days in Paris
Enjoy Paris Breaks, better to prepare in advance what your are going to do. A weekend in the Capital could be a really a good choice. There are few things you should be aware of.
A short break in Paris could be very busy if you decide to include visits of museums or monuments. If not it could be very relax, you want only flaner (stroll) and enjoy the spirit of Paris.
That's an easy itinerary, only be careful, some places could be closed on a certain day or month (particularly for restaurants).

Day 1
Start by the Cathedral Notre-Dame and climb the bell tower for the amazing view of Paris. The Cathedral is open every day. Metro: Cite. A little further there is the Sainte-Chapelle, you will admire the blue ceiling of the Lower Chapel.
Walk around l'Ile St-Louis and stop for the lunch in one of the restaurant with terrace overlooking the Ile de la Cite. Stop at Berthillon for its famous ice cream.
Go to the Place The Trocadero. Arrive at the Eiffel Tower, be here too when it is dark!

Day 2
Get up early to arrive at the Louvre Museum first before the crowd. Metro: Palais Royal-Musee du Louvre, Louvre-Rivoli
Careful, it is closed on Tuesday! Don't miss the best chocolate by Angelina on rue de Rivoli.
Visit the Paris Opera at the metro Opera. After, go to the most beautiful Cafe de la Paix, only few steps away from the Opera House.
Spend a part of the afternoon at Montmartre. Visit the Basilica Sacre-coeur. Metro: Abbesses, Anvers. Tired! Settle in a cafe on Place du Tertre and admire the work of the painters.
Decide on the evening to go to the famous Moulin Rouge and feel the atmosphere of the French Cancan. Address: 82 Boulevard de Clichy.

Day 3
Start early to visit the Orsay Museum, the Impressionist collection. Metro: Solferino RER: Musee d'Orsay. Open every day except Monday, on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December. Late night on Thursdays until 9:45 pm. A little bit further the Cafe des Lettres is located on rue Verneuil, you will like the decor, the terrace, a unique place in Paris.
Short walk to Rodin Museum and see the Thinker. Open every day except Monday, January 1st, May 1st and December 25.
Hotel des Invalides and Napoleon's tomb. Open every day of the year, except for the first Monday of every month. Metro: Invalides.
Walk on the Champs-Elysees from the Arc de Triomphe. Stop at the Duree Tea House and try their macaroons.
Evening at the prestigious Lido, one of the best show. The costumes are amazing! The dinner is very good and they serve a bottle of champagne with it. A very nice place, right for Paris.
Day 4
Incredible architecture of the Pompidou Centre. Metro: Hotel de Ville, Rambuteau RER: Chatelet.
Visit of the Marais Quarter, one of the oldest area of Paris. Many interesting places and good restaurants in this area. You can reach the place des Vosges.
Spend an evening in the Latin Quarter and enjoy the music in the Caveau de la Huchette.
Day 5
Versailles:
Why not to visit outside during your Paris breaks, this magnificent palace and gardens. Take the RER C5 to Versailles. In the summer the place has very good show with music. A must see!
