My Favorite Flea Markets in Paris

Paris is not known just for chic boutiques and fancy restaurants.

Flea Markets in Paris are a vital part of life for many residents.

So I will recommend you to spend few hours in one of these three famous markets.

The flea market of St-Ouen is the biggest in Paris.

Flea Market

FLEA MARKETS

Le Marche aux Puces de St-Ouen is my favorite, Paris largest flea market, big as a square mile. This Labyrinth is packed with brocante stalls. You will find old jewelry, furniture, toys, dishes...

Metro: Porte de Clignancourt. Exit, walk under the overpass and take the first left at the Rue de Rosiers. Open: Sat-Monday 9am to 6pm. This one still attracts a big crowd looking for antiques.

Marche aux Puces de Montreuil at the Metro Porte de Montreuil. Open from Saturday to Monday, 7 am to 7:30pm. In 1991 somebody lucky bought for 10 000 francs a painting attributed to Van Gogh today price is estimated at 2 million euro.

It is a paradise you will find clothes, small furniture, spices, books, sporting goods, tools ... It is all, at all prices, all brand new or old.

Marche aux Puces de Vanves is the best for old toys and books. Metro: Porte de Vanves. Every Saturday and Sunday of the year, open 8am to 5pm

Smaller market with its 380 dealers is specialized in small objects antique jewelry and cameras, phonographs and radios, books and old papers, coins, medals...

Marche aux puces d'Aligre Place d'Aligre 12th. Metro Ledru-Rollin. Open Tuesday to Sunday 7:30am to 1:30pm. The only fea market central of Paris. Brocanteurs offer books, phone cards, kitchenware...
