The Avenue des Champs Elysees paris: your best memory of your trip will be walking down the Champs Elysee, the most beautiful avenue around the world!

8th, 16th arrondissement. Metro: Champs-Elysees Clemenceau. RER: Charles de Gaulle Etoile. www.champselysees.org

Champs means fields. We celebrate everything here: New year Eve, Military parade July 14th, sports victory.

Champs Elysees Paris

This avenue is 1910 meters long between the Arc de Triomphe to the Place de la Concorde. The Champs Elysees is considered one of the most beautiful avenue around the world.

Two sections :

The lower section from Place de la Concorde to the Rond Point des Champs Elysees is a quiet very nice tree-lined (Horse Chesnut Trees) alleyway designed by the royal gardener Andre Le Notre in the early 17th.

The upper section from the Rond Point to the Arc de Triomphe is busy with granite pavements instigated by Jacques Chirac, cafes, restaurants, theaters, boutiques...
