January 1 in Montmartre. Huge procession with jugglers, clowns and lots of music.

Chinese New Year Parade
Paris'Chinatown, in the Southeast of Paris celebrates Chinese New Year with paper lanters, dragon dance down the street. That's a really colourful event. Metro: Porte d'Ivry, Porte de Choisy.

April 1, includes jokes, paper fish to someone's back. We named it in French Poisson d'Avril.

Foire du Trone
April and May 2012, Pelouse de Reuilly Bois de Vincennes. France biggest funfair, amusement rides, carousels...and fun! Metro: Porte Doree.

Marathon of Paris
Sunday April 15, 2012 starts on the Champs-Elysees and end at the Avenue Foch. Jog or walk approximately 42km (26 miles).

Foire of Paris
Huge exhibition. Includes many booths: home interiors, model of gardens, camping and outdoor activities, wine and gastronomy... from April 27 until May 8, 2012 at the Porte de Versailles. Metro Porte de Versailles.

Funfair days Jours de fête
Modern funfair with amazing attractions (the new rollercoaster) and stalls between Mid-December to beginning of January at the Grand Palais.

Horse Exhibition
Salon du Cheval de Paris Beginning of December at Paris Nord Villepinte. Jumping Competition, World Arabian Horse Championships, breeding and driving presentations. Free shuttle from the metro Porte de Maillot.

Classical concerts. Many classical concerts are held in churches during Christmas time and New Year.
