3 days in Paris Itinerary
What to do?

Only 3 days in Paris, that's not long but it's enough for visiting the most important places.

There are sights, you shouldn't miss, things you should do if you have just three days in Paris...

The most most obligatory sight is the Eiffel Tower. Some persons will tell you, you can see it from many places in Paris so you don't need to go close. Wrong!

You should go to see the Eiffel Tower close as you can let's say under its four pilliers so you can realize how nice and huge it is.

Very good pictures could be taken under it.

Don't miss the Cathedral Notre Dame, it is grandiose. Admire its splendid architecture!

Climb the stairs to arrive at the Basilica Sacre Coeur. Breathtaking view of Paris.

From the Palais de Chaillot

Start early in the morning by the museums like the Louvre and the Museum d'Orsay. Depending which day of the week you are in Paris, look closely the days the museums are open and closed.

Also know before where your are going for lunch and dinner, don't waste your time looking for a restaurant. Everything could be chosen before leaving your home. Give you eventually few options and some time to rest. Paris must be seen by foot, walking miles and miles is common. The Metro is quite useful for your 3 days in Paris.

DAY 1

Start your 3 days in Paris by The Eiffel Tower 18 Avenue de Suffren. Metro La Motte-Picquet Grenelle. It is open every day all year long, - from 9:30am to 11:00pm, January 1 to June 17 and August 29 to December 31 - from 9:00am to midnight, June 18 to August 28 Plan 2 hours for the visit.

Take the Batobus (river boat shuttle service)cross the street and walk down the stairs at the right hand corner of Pont de Iena. You will see Paris from the river the Seine. Next stop will be the

Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris in the 4th arrondissement.

Restaurants near Notre Dame Cathedral

Before walking to the Cathedral a very nice place to have a lunch at La Fourmi ailee (The Flying Ant) 8 rue de Fouarre 5th arrondissement. Open Monday to Sunday noon-midnight. Price varies between 20 - 25 € for a menu, salads. This old library has plenty of charm with its high ceiling.

Creperie Gourmandises Bretonnes 57, rue Galande. The place is very warm you will like the Britain Specialities served with cider.

Le Navigator 63 Rue Galande is open Monday to Sunday noon-2pm and 7pm-10pm a bourgeois atmosphere, a traditional restaurant a fresh salmon dish and duck confit.

Paris Hotel de ville

Visit Notre Dame with its beautiful architecture, the construction last over 200 years. Napoleon crowned himself here.

Go to Quai du Marché Neuf and right on Boulevard du Palais (450 m) 5 minutes walking to the Sainte Chapelle.

Take Boulevard du Palais, go across the bridge Pont au change, right on Quai de Gesvres until arriving at the Hotel de ville de Paris. walk to rue du Temple, rue des Rosiers. In this area named the Marais there are also many good restaurants.

DAY 2

Wake up early and come before opening at the Louvre Museum. Take few hours at the Louvre.

Go for lunch at the cheese restaurant Les Montagnards 58 Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Specialities from Savoy and local products.

La Taverne de Maître Kanter 16, Rue Coquillière Open Monday to Sunday specializing in authentic sauerkraut and seafood and especially open 24 hours. So all morning will be fine.

Go to la Maison du chocolat for lunch or there are many good cafes and restaurants around it.

Afternoon you will go to the Basilica Sacre Coeur. Metro: Abbesses. Admire the view walk to the place du Tertre many painters,good restaurants and Bakery on the corner. Walk down the streets down, arrive at the place des Abbesses, on your way see the beautiful windmills.



DAY 3

Wake up early and go to visit the Orsay Museum 5 Quai Anatole France. See the most beloved impressionist paintings inside a old train station.

French restaurant Le Quai Monday to Sunday : noon to 3pm. Menu 19 - 26 € Nice decor Located in the heart of historical Paris, between the Musee d'Orsay and the Jardin des Tuileries, The Wharf is a restaurant-bar-lounge is panoramic glass and steel in the style for 20. The view on the Louvre, the Seine and the Jardin des Tuileries is a halt to that unique address.
